Create a cherished blanket from all your favorite old TShirts. Made without interfacing and backed with fleece, this will be the most cozy (and economical!) TShirt quilt around. You will learn to cut the shirts to emphasize the graphic designs and work on layout to create the most interesting visual, while paying attention to the larger story your shirts tell. Finally, you will learn to work with knit fabric to assemble a complex pattern, and finish with simple machine zigzag "ties" to a fleece backing. For a twin size quilt, 30 shirt graphics is ideal.
This is the perfect gift for the high school or college graduate, runner, concert goer...
